Elegance and prestige is the way I describe this beatiful 2005 Cadillac SRX. We here at cadillacheadgasketfix.com specialize in the repair of the Northstar engine. The previous owner bailed on this vehicle after the dealer quoted him close to $6, 000 to do an oil reseal on the engine. Not only did we save this beauty but we made it's northstar engine into a SuperStar engine! This car had no evidence of head gasket failure but we knew it could happen at anytime. So we removed the engine and put the engine on a stand. We then broke the engine all the way down, we removed the heads, removed the timing components, oil pan, oil pan manifold, and lower crank case. Sent the heads out to our local machine shop. Then we did a complete reseal on this engine. We resealed the lower crankcase, oil pan manifold, and oil pan. We installed a new Fel-pro rear main seal and a new timing cover seal. Then we started on the head gasket issue to put that problem to sleep. We installed the SuperStar Stud System.The SuperStar is the only way to go on the Northstar V8 to eradicate the notorious head gasket issues (please visit cadillacheadgasketfix.com). You talk about a clean engine on the inside, the previous owner really did a wonderful job with maintaining the fluids and required changes. These engine's were made for longevity and why not have a nice one for the long term. We got the heads back from the machine shop and installed a complete new upper end headset and reinstalled the engine. You talk about a great feeling machine. ..wow! Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself to a great Cadillac!
The work performed on this engine is of the highest quality and at the local dealership they would ask $10, 000 - $12, 000 for the work performed. Don't invest in any Northstar powered vehicle unless the head gasket problem has been correctly and professionally addressed. This car drives like a cloud. transmission shifts flawlessly, engine is super smooth, and the ac blows cold. All fees and tags are paid to date. In addition to the above work this we installed a new radiator, alternater, new oil, and new coolant! Deposits are not refundable on this item.
