This has been our Go to church on pretty Sundays car for several years, but my sweet wife bought me a red Mercedes roadster for my 80th birthday, so now we are offering my STS-V for sale.
This is the most powerful Cadillac ever built at that time, powered by a supercharged and intercooled 4.4 liter Northstar double overhead camshaft, variable cam timing, V-eight with 469 HP and 439 ft.lbs. It has a six-speed automatic with a manual shift mode.
French-stitched beautifully grained leathers for top of the dash, center console, and door panels.
It has Brembo brakes, 10 spoke alloy wheels, 18x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rear, with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that I installed only a couple thousand miles ago, with no measurable wear yet.
The STS-V has a faster steering ratio and stiffer suspension than the standard STS, and the performance, braking, and handling is thrilling, beyond anything I ever expected with a four-door.
This is a 2006 model that has been our personal car for the last several years, and I absolutely love it. It is by far the coolest looking, fastest, best handling, most exclusive sedan I've ever had, and it has the most amenities.
Wikipedia quotes the 0-60 as 4.8 seconds. That time might be a little quicker now, with with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires I now have on the car, because they are higher traction than the factory equipped tires.
. The new price on this STS-V was over $77, 090, and it has the performance and features to justify the price. There were 1, 306 of these built for this 2006 model year, and total production over four years was 2, 503. These are quite rare, and I have never seen another one anywhere.

With the fob in your pocket, just walk up to the car and pull the door handle, no key to fool with, get in the car and one-touch the starter button, and the seats, mirrors, A/C, etc. all are automatically where you want them. Driver information center in dash Personalization instructional CD included, to lead you through the many amenities Voice recognition system, which allows for hands-free operation of navigation, phone, audio system, climate controls, windows, On Star, and memory features. Merely touch the talk symbol on the steering wheel, release it when you hear the beep, then merely speak your commands. This is great fun to play with.
It comes with the books, manuals, and service records, and smells nice inside.
The car had two previous owners; and before I bought it, I personally did a thorough inspection and road test of the car, and we would not have bought it if we had had any concerns whatsoever with the condition of the car or the treatment by previous owner. It has always been a Texas car.

On this particular car, please consider the rarity, condition, appearance, performance, and the fact that I replace tires, batteries, etc., with the best available parts. I don't take the car out in the rain, or ever park it outside over night, or park it where it is subject to door dings if we take it to a restaurant. Mine is treated more like a garage queen.
We have lots of other vehicles to use for daily drivers- and about 90% of the miles we put on the STS-V is on nice Sundays going to our little Cowboy Church in Henrietta, Texas, a 60 mile round trip for us. We made that trip on Easter Sunday, in the car that my sweet wife just bought for me for my birthday, a 2013 Mercedes Benz SL 550 roadster with a twin-turbo V-8. The SL 550 is the only reason I'm offering my STS-V for sale- I don't need two pretty-day cars.
The car has 83, 640 miles on it, and we are now offering it for sale at $19, 980. That is over $57, 000 off of the original price, and this very special Cadillac offers a lot of performance, comfort, luxury, and exclusivity for the money.

Big fun! And this shows how I get my high-performance thrills with my race car, where it is (relatively) safe and legal to do so, and use my Cadillac in the more traditional sense of luxurious, comfortable motoring, at legal speeds, when on the streets and highways. But it is fun to have a great handling and very responsive car like this STS-V, whatever the speed!
