Mechanic's dream! This American classic is ready for your TLC. It has a solid, if not beautiful, body and transmission, but needs very light engine work. One rod recently broke. We've taken extreme precautions to prevent further engine damage. It is quite likely that the damage is limited to just the one rod.
We've fixed everything from all the nitpicky things (wires, hoses, replacing spark plugs, flushing fluids, fuses . . .) to the bigger things (rebuilding the carburetor, DC cap, belts . . .). The heat works very well.
Other things left to be done: The dashboard light does not work but everything else has been double-checked and replaced as needed. The AC is not hooked up. A few cosmetic things still need to be done and the bed liner could be replaced.
Overall, this is the perfect truck for someone who enjoys putting a little elbow grease into their ride. This truck will run for as long as you want it to and love you as much as you love it!
