for sale

Price: US $5,000.00

Description:

I am selling my 69 C10 that I just don't have time to enjoy. This truck is turn-key ready for a new owner. I bought it because of the incredible backstory and the level of preservation that it has and I would like to see it go to someone who will appreciate that. You just don't find these trucks in this level of originality anymore. To help you better understand the current condition of the truck and where it came from, please see the photos and the backstory below. Also feel free to ask me any questions.

Back Story
Purchased new from Kidwell Motors in Hartwell, GA by James Herron on July 14, 1969 and taken back to Glo-Bar Farms in Anderson County South Carolina (Starr, SC to be specific). Mr. Herron, posthumously inducted into the SC Angus Beef Hall of Fame in 2012, was credited with introducing Angus Beef to Anderson County. Glo-Bar Farms, as noted on the C10's driver door (faint white paint) and the step bumper (black paint) was named for Mr. Herron's daughters, Gloria and Barbara. The truck left the farm annually over most of it's life for routine maintenance. Even into the 90s there are service documents that support the 26k miles being original, not rolled over. The condition and originality also support this.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as the truck is for sale locally as well. This auction has a reasonable reserve; I'm interested in selling, but this is not a typical needs work project truck. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs; I can assist for a fee that will be discussed with the buyer should they be interested in my help. Non-refundable $500 Deposit is due 24 hours after auction ends. Payment is cash or certified check only.
I'm a C10 owner and appreciate these trucks, please know that I'll do everything I can to honestly represent, discuss this truck.
Thanks for looking.
