Description:

For Sale a Very NICE SURVIVOR 1978 Chevrolet Scottsdale Standard Cab Pickup,  2 wheel drive, MILES READ 27, 521. will assume actual miles are 127, 521. Stunning  ORIGINAL Paint, Yellow on top, Ivory in middle, Yellow on bottom. Interior is Saddle Brown (Buckskin Trim #64I). Very Nice Basicly RUST FREE Survivor Truck, very ORIGINAL. Has ALL original paint with just some brush touch (touch up paint). Vehicle is basicly ALL stock original GM except for the addition of  new wheels & tires. Pretty much the truck is how I got it, only thing I have done is, had it power washed, buffed and waxed (detailed), had the original seat recovered & windshield replaced. Factory original  paint is shinny and looks great for its age. Previous owner had a camper on this truck for years, inside box area is scratched up from camper, box does not looked to have ever  hauled anything other than the camper. NO real dents just scratches! Paint is shinny and looks great but does have a number of scatches/nicks/chips that have been touched up with touch up paint. 350 V8, Automatic Transmission (Rebuilt), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, R134 Retrofit Procedure performed Aug-19-1998 (belt now missing, ac needs work?), AM Factory Radio (not working), Vehicle is loaded with options! Comes with some paperwork including TWO factory GM BUILD SHEETS. Tires and wheels are brand new (less than 100 miles), comes with the original Hubcaps, but the new wheel nubs are two small to hold the hubcaps on (should be a easy fix), they will come with the hubcaps. All Glass is good (new windshield), No cracks or chips/stars. Dash pad looks good but has a couple/few small cracks (should be a easy repair for your local interior repair guy. Vehicle looks runs and drives great/good and is  basicly RUST FREE! (some surface rust, see pics) **Nice solid 1978 C20 3/4 ton 2wd Pickup that you should be able to jump in and drive any where.  This vehicle is  SOLD AS-IS WHERE IS. Is this truck perfect? NO, has some  nicks/scuffs/scratches in the paint, inner door panels are dry and flakey from years of heat and use. Truck has factory saddle tanks (2 fuel tanks) with a factory switch on metal dash face. Fuel gauge reads empty for both tanks (I normally keep both tanks full). You can rock the switch and the gauge goes to full, once you release it goes back to empty. (bad switch??) + It is a 37 year OLD truck.  With that being said, Paint is bright and shinny, vehicle looks great. Super nice SURVIVOR truck that gets Thumbs UP and Nice Truck Comments just about every time I take it out.  Seller provides NO warranties, guarantees, expressed, written or implied.
