This is a 1978 Chevy Silverado 4x4 Custom Deluxe 10 Ranch truck
-Starts right up and runs very well. Idle is smooth and the truck is very quiet.
The engine sounds very healthy. The clutch is great and shifting through the gears is easy. It is a 3 speed with granny low gear. 4x4 works properly when tested. We only drove it a short distance and it felt great, ran strong and felt solid. We and are selling it as a project truck that needs that needs cosmetic attention, etc. The brakes, steering and suspension felt normal and she stops fine. We couldn't find any leaks and mechanically the truck seems very sound.
As far as we know the truck has been in California since new, however since it was close to the beach it does have some rust. The frame and undercarriage are solid and the majority of the truck is rust free. The rust that we found is pictured below. The paint is old and has a nice honest appeal.
Due to the age and condition we will not be offering this van to California buyers as we cannot guarantee that it will pass all California strict safety/emissions requirements.
Pictures speak 1000 words so be sure to review them carefully to get an idea of what your buying. With some TLC this 4x4 can really be a cool and unique ride, or just drive around the ranch or to Home Depot as-is. Overall this is very cool, classic 4x4 Chevy pickup. ... for the people who like the simple things in life.
The tires are ok however they do have dry cracks and should be replaced soon.

Within 48 hours following the end of auction, a 25% deposit to Cali Auto Brokers shall be sent in the form of cashiers-check or certified funds. If a deposit is not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle may be sold to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The transaction must be completed within FIVE business days of the auction end. If not, and an alternative arrangement has not been made, the vehicle may be sold to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Every vehicle we list has a clean title (unless otherwise noted and disclosed).
Buyer is responsible for Tax, Title, and Documentary Fees. Any disputes regarding the sale of this vehicle shall be resolved through arbitration in California, Los Angeles under the laws of California.
