1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet Camaro (1969)
for sale

Price: US $200.00

Description:

Up for sale is my 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. I bought the car with plans to restore it but the old saying Too many projects, not enough time applies! Its just time to move this one on to someone else.  This car is no show queen, but it looks good from 20 feet and all the right pieces are there to make a first class 1969 Camaro.  The car has an older paint job, its red with black Z28 stripes. Part of the paint is chipping off and fading as you can see. It does have a kind of cool patina'd look to it. I've taken it to several cruise nights as shows as is and it always draws attention. There is some surface rust in the bottom of the door and the quarters, but nothing rusted through or that couldn't easily be fixed.  The vinyl top doesn't have any holes or torn places, but it does have some surface cancer underneath as you would expect. I've felt it all over and can't find any spots that feel like its rusted through, just surface. The interior is presentable but not perfect. The front drivers seat has a torn spot as you can see in the pics. The back seat is good but the material has came loose on one side, an upholstery shop should be able to fix this easily. The headliner has one small tear but is otherwise nice. The car was a factory AC car and the center vent is missing. Under the hood was recently detailed and painted. The car has new goodmark inner fenders. New chrome valve covers and air cleaner. I was told by the previous owner that the 396 is fresh and had less than 500 miles on it when I bought it. It probably has 1500 or so on it now. It has a new interstate battery in the car. The power steering pump is a little noisy, but I suspect it may be the belt. Going to try and get that fixed this week.  Speaking of the hood, its a nice steel cowl hood. The car runs out and drives awesome. Its got a M21 Muncie 4-speed that shifts as well or better than any four speed car I've ever owned. Motor sounds healthy, has great oil pressure, etc, etc. The car does not run hot.  The car is as is, where is. Please feel free to drive in or fly and and inspect the car. We are three hours from Charlotte, two hours from Greenville, two hours from Atlanta, one hour from Asheville. Plenty of airports around. You could even fly in and drive it home if you wanted. One person's idea of good and another's person may be totally different. I've tried to explain the car as honestly as I can. The car is originally a Georgia car so it comes with BILL OF SALE ONLY. I have two bill of sales plus a third from me to you and a tag receipt from the previous owner. That should be all you need but feel free to check with your local DMV.  There is a large parking lot beside the house that is great for shipping companies, I'll be glad to get the car to there and help out anyway I can with getting the car sent off. Cash or money wire only, not playing any paypal or cashiers check games. A 500 dollar non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auctions end via paypal.
