1966 Chevelle Malibu . This is a custom car and has won many awards including Super Chevy Sunday and was also featured in the magazine. This was a body off restoration car in 1983 and was mainly driven or trailered only to car shows. The body is super straight and is painted Candy Brandy Wine. The underside of this car is painted Charcoal Grey Metallic. The frame is Black Emron. The Original 327 engine has had a mild build .60 over with Edelbrock intake, 650 Holley carb, 350 horse cam with Original double hump 196 heads. Original 12 bolt rear end upgraded with 373 gears. Original Saginaw 4speed transmission was replaced for Muncie with Hurst linkage and shifter. Still has drum brakes. Wheels are Graiger SS, Tires are Mickey Thompson. Chrome headers with Chrome Hush Thrush mufflers. Interior is Burgundy and Silver cloth, stitched to match factory design with custom stitching work in rear back seat, side panels, dash pad and embroidery work on side panel headliner. All interior plastic trim new or re chromed. The trunk has been custom fabricated and includes wheel tubs.
I have owned this car since 1977. It has 93, 000 original miles on odometer, about 30, 000 on rebuild.Since it was built in the early 80, s this car has many new OEM factory parts. Such as emblems, moldings, light bezels, window whiskers, interior trim, weather striping, to name a few. As you can see from the pic's there are many chrome highlights on the chassis and engine, steering linkage, brake backing plates, brake lines, rear end cover and coil springs, steering column shaft, master cylinder cap, and more. This car is very tastefully done, clean and solid. This can be a show car or driver muscle car, either way you will get the LOOKS. This one STEALS THE SHOW.
