PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. relisted due unauthorized use of winning bidder's account. 1966 Chevelle SS project car. Needs full restoration. Is a true 13817 SS 396 hardtop. Has original Atlanta cowl tag, with codes for 4 speed , buckets with optional headrests , console, dual rear speakers. Has had a previously installed GM LH quarter panel , along with the rear panel behind the back window. It needs the trunk floor to be replaced and a new , one piece full trunk floor is included, along with both rh and LH inner wheelhouses and a new rh outer wheelhouse, a full rh quarter skin is also included. Floors are solid except for a hole in LH front pan where driver heels would be and a new full front LH floor pan is included. Interior is all there but the buckets will need reupholstering. Included are Legendary bucket seat upholstery , new bucket seat foams made by ACI which are the high quality ones and the full new in box correct 1966 style headrests and hardware kit to mount them since this is a headrest car. Back seat is reupholstered previously and looks good. Has new windshield installed. Doors are solid, not perfect but good , trunk lid is good, no rust, has one rusty hood that is on the car and one very good oem SS hood not currently installed on the car but included. Also includes and extra pair of oem fenders and fender wells. The body is on the frame, but is unbolted, and a new set of body mount bushings and bolts are included with car. Has a good radiator, and new heater core installed. Has a new dash pad installed.The engine is a 1969 396 fully rebuilt 030 over with zero time, and a comp 268 series cam with edelbrock air gap intake with endurashine finish, I don't have any machine shop receipts - sorry never had them. Has brand new GM flywheel, 11 clutch kit , air cleaner , new mallory billet distributor, nearly new edelbrock carburetor , rebuilt zero time Muncie 4 speed , and rebuilt 1966 casting numbered 12 bolt posi with new 373 gears not installed in car but included. Also included are four 14 redline radials with low miles and excellent tread, four oem mag style hubcaps in very good condition, and a redline bias ply spare. Many othe new in box parts include: full body hardware kit, full interior hardware kit, new steering rag joint , new E brake cable kit, new full oem brake line kit, new 3/8 fuel line , new fuel tank vent kit, new fuel pump, also includes a slightly used oem style Canada made fuel tank , straps and sender. Also have a full set of front control arms with very low mile ball joints and full set of brakes and drums from another 66 , and rear boxed control arms with sway bar and a low mile set of kyb shocks. Also set of low mile SS coil springs , front and rear all are not yet installed on car. The console is still in the car not bolted down, this is a manual steering, manual brake car. The bucket seats are 1966 with metal backs and no locks. The car needs a full restoration, and more parts And trim, but this is a true SS 396 4 speed hardtop , not a fake. Car is registered in Connecticut, and is older than a 1981 , thus there is no title, and state of CT will not furnish one , so there will be bill of sale, and no title.
