Up for auction is my 1965 Corvette Convertible restoration project! This is a great opportunity to own and build a 65' Corvette Convertible your way. Almost everything on this corvette was taken off during the restoration process; I have every one of those parts. All parts come with this auction, and they are in very good shape! It has its original matching numbers Hi-Performance 300 horsepower 327 engine (HF Code Suffix). The engine was built at the Flint Plant on September 16th (F0916HF). As of now, the engine was dismantled during the restoration process on the car. I have every single part that came off of this engine: intake (4brl), carb, heads, exhaust manifold, fan, alternator, distributor, fuel pump, etc. if you get the idea. Additionally, the original 4-Speed Muncie Transmission and shifter come with this corvette! Included is the original hard top for this car. The body on this corvette is in GREAT shape with a few exceptions shown in the pictures. This is a very early production corvette being number “1, 609” in the production line. Early production corvettes have round rivets on the VIN tag instead of the “Rosette” rivets. The original exterior paint color of this corvette was “Ermine White” with the interior trim being “Black Vinyl”. This 1965 Corvette Convertible was built in St. Louis, MO with the final assembly date of Monday, November 09, 1964. The body build date on this corvette was on September 16, 1964 with the body source being “A. O. Smith”. The hood, doors, exhaust panel, vent screens, deck lid, and headlight bezels have all been professionally done front and back and are ready to be painted with barely any prepping. This corvette has power windows and the motors for them are included.The frame on this corvette is very solid with the exception of a spot near the driver side rear quarter; many c2 corvettes have this problem in that area. The section will need minor metal/patch work. The seats are in very good condition as well. The gauge cluster and the glove box are in good condition as well. The bumpers are all original with the “GM” stickers on the reverse side. All of these parts are original to the car. I also have almost all nuts and bolts that were taken off during the removal of parts and panels. I have a clean title, paperwork on the cars history, manuals on how to put the car together bolt by bolt, the original keys and more. Please inspect all of the parts in the pictures provided.
