Description:

Newly finished frame on restoration that took me two years (nights and weekends) on this 1974 Chevy El Camino. Rebuilt 350 bored .030 over for 355 cu.in. Edelbrock Performer intake and carburetor. Mild comp cam with smooth idle. .125 dome pistons. Pump gas all the way. TH350 transmission. Corporate 10bolt rear with Eaton positraction installed. All new poly suspension bushings. New front and rear springs. New front and rear (air shocks with remote pump controlled from the dash) shocks. New front ball joints. New front and rear sway bars 1-1/8 front-7/8 rear. Full length headers, dual exhaust with turbo type mufflers and 3 resonated tail pipe tips. New 3 core aluminum radiator. High flow fan. Engine runs about 185-190 deg. all day long. HEI distributor. New plug wires and plugs. Brass soft plugs. Finned aluminum oil pan. Aluminum valve covers. New Scat bucket seats. New carpet and headliner. Interior color change to all black. Three gauge cluster (temp, oil pressure, volts). Small Tachometer on steering column. Radio is there but not hooked up. (dash speaker was blown and I haven't gotten around to door speakers, besides who needs a radio when a vehicle sounds this good). New windshield with built in antenna. Functioning fiberglass hood scoop installed and hood modified for cowl air intake. (not true cowl induction, it just draws all air from the cowl) New quarter panels. Inner quarters have peen primed with rust preventing paint and then undercoated with wax base inner panel coating. Firemist red (TCP Global Restoratoin Shop) body with GM gloss black stripes and roof. The bed has been coated with Duplicolor bed liner coating. Factory bullet sport mirrors. American Racing Outlaw II 15 wheels. 275-70-15 rear and 225-70-15 front tires with very good tread. 1 aluminum billet wheel spacers give it a lower wider look. This is a real looker and drives great. Good gas mileage ( around 14-15 ) for the year. I believe it has 2:72 rear gears. New brake pads in the front and good brake shoes in the rear. Front wheel bearings were cleaned and repacked. New axle seals installed in rear when installing the posi. That's all I can think of right now. I may add more details later. I can send (or post) more photos as long as there is room on the listing. $500 non-refundable deposit thru PayPal is required within 48 hour of auction close.
