This car is not showroom, but very close. Real deep black with silver racing stripes. Everything is new or almost new ...even the back glass (replaced it because I was going to tint windows). Interior is almost perfect. Really new suspension, with new shocks and new mono springs. Engine was rebuilt about 5, 000 miles ago, that is a guess. It's a punched out 289, which makes it like a 293 I think. The transmission is a 400 with a 373 rear gear so its quick. Decent gas mileage.
Only a few things need help:I can't get the dash to work ...doesn't light up. The electrical needs help, I really think one thing will fix it all, but can't get it... everything is there and looks good though. I have new after market gauges and a new tach installed that work great.Needs a speedo cable, I just use the tach. The lights do work, but the turn signals go slow when lights are turned on. The tires are new, but the front will rub if turning really sharp (needs a smaller front wheel I think). The rear is fine and the previous owner did a perfect mini tub for larger wheels if you want. There are a couple of little bubbles in the paint, hard to see because the car is black, but I have me pointing at them in a picture listed.
First you should know I have a perfect score because I reveal every detail I know and never mis-represent anything. This car looks new, no rust.
This weekend I'm taking it in to Performance Engineering to get a full tune up. You will be able to call them after it's done if you want to get another opinion on the car ... they are well known for building race engines and cars.
Of course, this car is sold as is.
