Chevrolet Other Pickups (1941)

Price: US $2,800.00
Up for sale here again I have my mostly original 1941 Chevrolet short bed patina truck that would make an excellent shop truck or patina rat rod build. I sold this truck some months back on ebay and put in the listing that it would be difficult to go back stock with the truck because of the way it was torched apart by the previous owner and the condition of the engine. The winning bidder ignored this and bought the truck to make a stock patina driver out of it. After paying for it and me mailing him the title he decided he didn't want it anymore so after around 45 days or so I refunded his money and got the title back. PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION.
The truck is fairly solid and has the original drivetrain that is probably no good. The truck was disassembled when I got it and the engine had sat out in the elements so its locked up. The pedals, shifter handle, steering gear, front u bolts and steering shaft from wheel to wheel were all torched by the previous owner. We have it bolted and welded back together to make it roll and steer but those parts would need replacement if going back original. There is a guy fairly close by that has these stock style parts needed for sale. There is some rust in the drivers side cowl down low and a little in the beltline and bottom back of the cab. Go to yellow41chevy.shutterfly.com to view around 65 photos of the truck. It has a steel floor welded in over what looks to be the original wood. The truck is missing both bumpers, the grille divider trim, the gas tank and filler neck, the shocks and the seat bottom but I have a two piece seat spring from my 37 Chevy that a buyer could have if they wanted it. The windshield frame looks to be in good condition and the crank mechanism is there. The dash is all complete along with the heater. The doors open and close and the windows will roll up and down but they could all use a little work. The hood latches need lubrication to work properly. I've come up with another correct artillery wheel so I now have 3 total. There's some spare parts from a 46 Chevy truck that we built in 2013 that are included with the truck including a black carpet kit, a hood, a fender and some other small new parts. The visor is a comet skyshield but its dented up pretty bad. The grille had some cracked bars on each end that have been tacked back. The truck is bolted together for transport with new bolts. It is selling with no reserve and if it doesn't sell I have a 118 S10 frame that I'm going to put it on. There is a $500 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the auctions end through paypal. The remainder of the balance is due within 7 days of the auctions end and I would prefer it not be through paypal. Thanks and good luck bidding.
International bidders are welcome as long as your serious buyers.
