I am selling a completely customized 1954 Chevy Truck Short Bed (Rat Rod)
To the original chassis was welded a 1980 Camaro Z28 front clip with Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Stabilizing Bar, it has two inches dropped spindles. The rear has a 1980 Camaro Z28 Positraction differential with 2:73 running gear and Drum Brakes. The Engine is a 1988 SBC-350-V8 Corvette Tune Port Injection with a 700R4 Automatic Transmission, Flow Master exhaust system and side exhaust pipes (The truck runs 60 to 70 mph @ under 2500 rpms and has never over heated)
Some of the exterior features are as follow:
The grill is from a 1953 Chevy Truck, 1956 Chevy Front Bumper, 1953 Oldsmobile turn signals, blended in head light visors, 1955 Chevy Station Wagon rear Bumper with bumperetts customized to fit, 1959 Frenched Cadillac Tail Lights, Fulton Sun visor, a customized swamp cooler that came from an Electrolux vacuum cleaner (with computer cooling fan powered by the cigarette lighter), hood ornament from a Studebaker and dual Nu Vue spot lights. The paint is scuffed as shown and it does not have a clear coat.
Some of the Interior features are as follow:
This car features one of the most beautiful custom interior that you will ever see on a truck. It seems original to the truck, and it has a vintage look throughout. It starts with a mind blowing 1956 Oldsmobile Dash and Instrument Cluster Panel cut to fit on the truck, the steering wheel is a 1956 Chevy, the center console, the door panels, arm rest, the gas tank cover all were customized from a 1960 Thunderbird interior parts, the seats are from a 1961Thunderbird, some of the interior trims are from a 1957 Chevy exterior trims and tying all the interior and engine compartment together are the trims from a 1955 Pontiac.
The Engine compartment is super clean with all cables tucked away, it has a custom made Tune Port Injection Cover that was made from different years vintage parts as if it belongs to the period.
The truck has a new gas tank with sending unit, new radiator, new radiator fan, new All star stainless steel reservoir, custom radiator cover with finned radiator cap, new 12 volts wiring system, new gauges, new tachometer, new Lockhart shifter, new chrome tilt steering column, new stainless steel oil pan, new finned aluminum valve covers, new Billet stainless steel wire loom covers, new powder coated shorty headers. The battery is located inside a custom made wood trunk located inside the bed of the truck all wood is stained black to match the truck every detail on this truck was carefully design and nothing was left to chance 99% of bolts are all stainless steel and has all new glass.
The cab corners, and rear lower door jambs should be replaced, I have some of the replacement parts, the truck has no air ride, no air conditioner, no emergency brakes, no wipers, seat belts need to be fixed and has no radio. SHE DEMANDS ALL YOUR ATTENTION.
