This 2 door sedan has an all steel body with original steel running boards, shaved door and trunk handles, the top has been chopped 2 ½ inches, and is coated in a beautiful Seafoam Mist Green paint that is absolutely stunning. As you look into the interior of this hot rod you will notice that every last component has been refinished, the headliner is new and a Pioneer stereo installed in an overhead console, The front and rear seats have been reupholstered, a new carpet has been installed, all of the seat belts are brand new and have shoulder harnesses up front, and the gauges have all been replaced, and there is a GM tilt steering column with a beautiful Lacara mahogany wood and aluminum steering wheel. Under the hood lies a 355 cubic inch small block Chevrolet 4 bolt main engine with many upgrades such as an Edelbrock aluminum intake and 4 barrel carburetor, Accel dual point distributor, and 4 row aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, the nearly new engine is backed up by a 700R4 automatic transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.55 gears making this street rod a pleasure to drive for a short cruise or for a long distance highway trip. This 1940 Chevy handles amazing as well thanks to some upgrades now having a rack and pinion power steering setup and power brakes with disc brakes up front and you can cruise in comfort any time of year with the Vintage Air air conditioning system and heat.
