This is one sweet '48 Chevy truck. It lies on a '91 S-10 frame that is very clean. It has Upper and Lower RideTech Strong Arms on the front with RideTech Shockwave performance air suspension that was installed less than 200 miles ago. A 700r4 automatic transmission with overdrive was installed in January 2015 at a very reputable local shop and has a 3 year warranty included. It has a Goodwrench small block 350 installed. The engine is very dependable, however does have a few leaks. A new oil pan was installed with a Fel-pro one piece rubber gasket. I believe the leaks are coming from the valve covers and possibly the timing cover but have not had time to investigate. Brand new white walls were installed in in December of 2014. I have purchased all new windows and gaskets. The drivers door glass and weatherstripping has been installed. The interior of the doors and cab were stripped to bare metal and painted a 2 stage white. A Samsung Galaxy Tab was installed in the dash as well as brand new Classic Industries gauges. A Summit wiring harness was installed as well as new headlights and LED taillights. A new electric wiper motor was installed as well as new wiper arms. New rear brake shoes and drums were installed but could use new pads in the front. This truck could be driven daily as is, but still has a little work left to do if that's what you're looking for. Work left to do: stop engine oil leak, change front brake pads, reupholster seat (currently has Mexican blanket over vinyl seat that has cracks).
