I have a 89 Chevy S10 with a 4.3L V6. I have done a lot of work on it like a new gas tank, sending unit, transmission, water pump, dual electric fans, and more. It has lots of power. Also added HID head lights and LED lights for the markers, tails, brake, and interior lights. It has a full alarm system with remote start, and power door locks. The last thing I added was power windows. I would love to keep this truck but I want and need a utility trailer. So there is nothing wrong with this truck. It is a project that now could be yours.
