3.73 gears (great for 33’’ tires and a mix of city/hw/trail driving). Tahoe cruises really nice down the highway, feels solid and brakes without vibrations.

4x4 high and low engage via floor stick shift, so no electrical 4wd push button to break.

33x12.50x15 Goodyear Duratrac with about 50-60% tread left. You can easily fit 35/36’’ tires, but the 33’’ are a good compromise for mix of city and trail usage, plus it fits in a regular car garage (Tahoe height is 7.9 feet).

Engine runs great, does not burn oil or smoke, and has a lot of power.

The Tahoe is bone DRY underneath, NO leaks of any kind
. Oil pan and valve cover gaskets were replaced when a full tune up was done at about 100K miles.

Interior is very clean

AC and heat work perfect.

All electric components inside works as they should.
o
Cloth seats are in very good condition. Carpet has some stains on the rear foot well and rear cargo area. A shampoo will probably clean everything out. A leather tear on the inside right rear panel.

Pioneer stereo and speaker all around with USB, Aux connection, and external microphone mounted on driver side pillar. It is wired to the cargo area for an amplifier and
sub-woofer.

No dash warning lights.
o
Note in the pictures there is no spare tire on the rear cargo area, however, I do have the spare tire, just removed it for extra cargo space.

Body is rust free and looks great as well.

Original paint still shiny. It has scratches here and there, many that can be buffed out.

Dents on hood from a hail storm, and some parking lot dents on the side panels and one on the tailgate. Most of these can be pulled out with PDR.

Catalytic Converter makes a ticking/rattling noise when idling at operating temperature. Not at the point that needs replacing yet, plus it passed emission/smog testing without a problem just a month ago.

I got some questions about engine power with the lift and tires. Remember these are 15’’ wheels, only about 22lbs, versus the heavy 18’’+, so the Tahoe feels very torquey when jumping from a standstill or downshifting. If you are looking at this truck you might know this, but this motor has more low end power than the newer Vortec 5.7 (96-99 Tahoes) and Vortec 5.3 (2000+ Tahoes). Only the 1995s Tahoes have the new dashboard/interior (versus the old style full size Blazer until 1994), with the classic TBI 5.7 engine. I think this is the best year as it has the best of both worlds..
