1963 Chrysler Imperial

Chrysler Imperial (1963)
for sale

Price: US $963.00

Description:

Every car has a story, and this one truly has a historic story!! A presidential story!! Read on. ..
The car originally was owned by the U.S. government in 1963. It's a basic Imperial with an ADDED air conditioner mounted in the trunk as seen in the pictures. It is a RADIO DELETE. The car was assigned to President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964 for personal use at his ranch!! He personally picked this car from the Dallas NAS base motor pool and was used at the presidential ranch until 1967. Picture of the Dallas NAS bumper ID is on the front bumper!!
The car's current condition: Needs total restoration. Its been sitting outside for 10 years or more. The condition of the drive train is unknown. It ran when parked I have not attempted to start it. I know that the push buttons for the transmission have disabled the car releasing from park. The drive shaft is removed so the car can roll. It will need to be trailered and we can assist loading.
SAVE THIS HISTORIC CAR. .a NO RESERVE auction so the last bidder owns the car!!!
The fine print: The winning bidder to send a $300 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit 48 hours end of auction via Paypal. Balance due in the form of bank to bank wire transfer or any type of verifiable bank check. Cash will work too!!
