1942 Chrysler New Yorker

Chrysler New Yorker (1942)
for sale

Price: US $5,000.00

Description:

Up for auction is a very nice, hard to find 1942 Chrysler New Yorker with the Highlander trim package. The car has a clear Wisconsin title.
The car is all stock. It was painted at least 15 years ago but the paint is still very good. This car has been well maintained and stored very well over the years.
Engine is the original Straight 8 with the Fluid Drive 3 speed manual transmission. The engine runs nice and smooth- extremely quite and no smoke. It really runs and drives great.
This car has the Highlander trim package. Interior appears to be original in very nice condition-no cracks or tears. It's leather with plaid inserts- very plush for the day. The interior is trimmed in bakelite all the way around. It's in good condition except for right above the radio and the glove box door. All the lights and gauges work like they should but the clock and radio are not working.
The glass is good on this car all the way around. All the chrome and stainless trim is there and in good condition. Tires are like new.
We also have some extra parts that will go with the car. It's miscellaneous- some hubcabs, brake, clutch, and transmission parts- see the pictures.
This is a cool old car- suicide doors, fender skirts, visor, spot light, etc.- that you could hop and drive anywhere right now. The car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please call or email any questions or come and look at the car in person! 608-873-5264
