The engine is the stock V6 with fuel Injection and an automatic transmission. This is a numbers matching Prowler in excellent condition with only 11, 045 miles on the odometer. Chrysler engineers were given free rein to design whatever they wanted in a hot rod or sportster type vehicle. Thomas C Gayle Chrysler's design and international director love for 1930s-era hot rods inspired Chrysler's latest design triumph, the retro-styled Plymouth Prowler. An early influence is credited to a Chrysler-sponsored project at the Art Center College of Design that resulted in a thesis by Douglas Chip Foose that included drawings of a retro-roadster Foose who designed it as a coupe for Chrysler to begin with, but modified it to a roadster version. The V6 in this beauty is the second generation engine with 253 hp which is considerably more that the first engine Chrysler used in the Prowler. The car has the stock alloy wheels on all four corners with period correct tires. Inside you will find that everything works including the tach that was added to the steering column. The thick beautiful leather seats are in great condition as you would expect from a car with mileage this low. The tires are all in very good condition as well. The Midnight Blue paint is a color you won’t see coming down the street while you enjoy some open top fun in this beautiful Roadster. - $1000 deposit needed within 24 hours of offer being accepted. - A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is non-refundable which is applied to the purchase amount.
- Payment methods: ACH, wire transfer, cashier's check, credit card(3% fee), personal check(10 business days to clear), and of course- cash. PayPal not accepted.
- Signed purchase contracts, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
- Our hours are 9-5pm EST Monday through Saturday.
