2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser
I'm the second owner. Purchased July 2010 as a certified pre-owned from a Chrysler Dealer. The car starts and runs, but has code P0303. Even though it still runs and can accelerate and be driven at highway speed, you can tell there is a loss of power when accelerating, and idles rough. The problem occurred about 6 weeks & 2K miles ago without warning, but it still continues to operate.
The good: Water pump and timing belt replaced at 75K milesCoil and fuel injectors replaced two years agoSpark plugs and wires replaced at 100KBattery replaced 6 months agoExterior is very good, only a few parking lot dingsNo accidentsInterior is excellent, no tears, stains, rips etc.Non smokerAll power accessories work as they should; AC, stereo, lights, etc.Set of 4 tires have about 25K miles on them.All glass is excellentCurrent NJ inspection
The bad:Code P0303 as statedAir bag light is on, came on in January 2015, not sure why
Car has a clean NJ title registered under my name. Was a good dependable car for the last 5 years until this issue. I now have a company car and no longer need the PT.
