You are bidding on an original 67.5 Datsun 1600 roadster. Last year of the more desirable flat dash and low windshield. This car is numbers matching unmolested survivor. Not a lot of these left with matching numbers and straight frames.
The car does not run. Engine turns over smoothly with battery (can send video) but fuel is not hooked up and have not had the time to try to get it running. A weekend and someone who knows what they are doing should get it running easily. Run before it sat and engine bay has been cleaned up nicely. Got it as project but life decided it wasn't a good time.
Lights, heater, wipers work. Transmission shifts smooth. Drive shaft is off for transport but with car.Full break job will need to be done but car moves freely. Needs new clutch slave as well. Glass is all in good condition. Comes with hard top.
This car is a great project and does not need much but to get it going. Body is not perfect by any means but over all isn't too bad and nothing that can't be fixed. Dents and rust in usual places. Please see all pics and look closely before bidding. This is a great car that is almost complete that just needs someone willing to put in the time and work.
I bought this car from a guy who inherited it from his uncle who was the original owner who again said it ran great before it sat. Again this is a great car for a project for a car this is getting more and more rare.
Can help get car on trailer but you are in charge of getting shipping organized or picking it up.
