Well I'm sure no expert on Datsun Roadsters, but an elderly friend of mine has had this Fairlady sitting idle in his garage for over 15 years or so. He had big plans to restore it during retirement.His poor health changed things and now I'm selling it.This is what I call a Barn Find... Its dirty from storage and just how I received it.
The title got lost and he can not replace it so please don't ask.You will need to check with the laws in your state regarding getting a new title.This car has lots of extra parts and pieces in the trunk as well as both tops.It's sure not perfect, but it would make a neat daily driver or perhaps be a candidate for a restoration one day? It is a low mileage survivor. It was in running condition when parked away into storage years ago.This car is 50 years old and being sold as is. My opening bid is $2, 500 with no reserve.I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way.
I have tried to take good pictures so you can see its overall condition.
Its a Colorado car and that is a plus for not being real rusty. The floors, frame, rockers, trunk, engine compartment, etc. appear to be excellent. I have turned the engine over by hand.Now all this having been said, I can't imagine finding a more complete or more un molested 1966 Datsun Roadster like this for the price.
I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. I think that the next owner will be very pleased with it.
