Up for your consideration is a 1972 Datsun 510 with approximately 139, 000 miles. These car were well ahead of their time when the debuted. They are known as the Poor Man's BMW, and are also known as the Original Tuners. Datsun/ Nissan made these simple to maintain, most 280zx suspension parts are interchangeable with these models. Their large engine bays allow for multitude of different engine setups.
I do not have any history on the vehicle, I purchased the vehicle form this site approximately 4 years ago and had it shipped from Colorado. The paint is in decent shape for the cars age, it is all original, no paint or body work. There is some paint fade on the drivers' side rear quarter panel as well as on the right side trunk lid. The front seats will need to be reupholstered or replaced as they are all torn up hence the seat covers. There are no leaks or funny odors.
It has the 4 cylinder engine with a Dog Leg 5 speed transmission. Car runs great, very strong. Some minor rust starting on the body corners by the wheel wells (See Photos). Floor Boards, Trunk, Chassis are all solid.
Included in the sale of the car are 4- American Racing Libres wheels to complete the cars original look, as well as replacement windshield. Also included are a Dual-Weber carburetor and Intake setup. And lastly a BRE front chin spoiler.
Bear in mind that this is a 43 year old car.
I forgot to mention that the car is carpeted and has the original rubber DATSUN mats as well. Car also had 6000k HID low beam headlights.
