Up for grabs is this rare 1966 Datsun 520 Pickup.
Truck is in great condition and would make an easy restoration project.
It has the original 1300 engine and has the single headlights ( 1965 - 1966 only )
The engine is not currently running but we did install a new battery, cleaned the carb, and installed some fresh fuel lines last summer and we were able to get it to run. It turns over but does is not running and driving currently. The carb will need to be rebuilt ( original Nikki ) , gas tank flushed , possibly a new fuel pump, and some basic tuning. Also the clutch master cylinder and brake master cylinder are dried out and will need to be replaced or rebuilt before it has functioning brakes. We were not able to test the clutch for this reason.
We are not sure on the actual mileage but it appears to have low mileage and in much better shape that you normally see for such and old truck. The odometer reads 14, 000 miles but we are unsure if that is correct due to the age of the truck.
The bed is solid and the cab also looks really great with the exception of a few rust holes showing on the rocker panels. Also the front RH fender has some rust holes showing above the headlight area. The undercarraige looks great and so does the frame. Better than average condition for a datsun mini from this era.

Payment terms: We would prefer not to use paypal for payment on this pickup. If you have no other way to pay except paypal we will accept it but prefer not to pay the paypal fees if possible. Cashiers check or cash would be preferred. We are allowing 10 days for payment so that you have plenty of time to get the check in the mail.We could also accept a bank wire transfer from bank to bank. Check must clear our bank before we will release possession of the truck.
If you need time to find a great shipping deal we can store this truck on our place for a few months so you can find a shipper.
