I started out with my roadster 5 years ago. I did a lot of things wrong and several things right, I've should of taken it off the frame for as much work I had done to it, but it was driving so well I didn't want to mess with it.
It's not a perfect car, but it has a lot of potential to be a very very very nice ride. A big head turner!
I spent a lot of money on the car and I'm not going even start pricing out parts because it will make me sick. If you're a Datsun lover you know exactly how much good things cost. I would say I have 20 plus thousand in this little ride and doesn't really need much more.
I'll start with body of the car. It had rust on the front floor boars which were replaced and inside the trunk...that's it! The paint is a clear coat base coat. This cars paint is pretty darn nice. It has a few areas that I will get better pictures of that will need to be re painted (2 in particular)
As you can see I had the window removed and door sealed up along with the door handles. I had the rear fenders rolled out several inches. On the driver's side door I had the front fender cut out and rolled to add an exhaust pipe.
Engine is original and ran great, but it has been sitting for three years. I purchased it off the original lady in Sacramento, CA
I had the Carbs professionally done. The suspension lowered and all new front ball joints, shocks, idler arm and several other parts to make it ride smooth.
The mirrors are Datsun Parts the seats are Kirky and I have two of them. I have a new carpet kit.
The only thing the car really needs to be finished is the exhaust, doors trim and some of the rear interior trim.
Th engine needs a little tuning, but started up for me on the first try today. The battery is new
The vehicle is out of Sacramento, CA and I will assist with shipping if needed. I have bought and sold a lot bigger ticket items on Ebay with no issues.
