1971 Datsun 510 4 door
I purchased it from a local used car dealer in Great Falls Mt in
1983. It had a new motor, clutch and new tires. I have driven it
every day to work over 30 years, and on several vacations around
the state. I retired last year and see that the Datsun needs to retire also.
It has new tires and a new battery two years ago.
The key switch is worn and sometimes does not turn far enough so I had a push button installed to start
and a washer switch for washer fluid. The car runs and starts well, but needs a lot of little repair and
maintenance. Over 30 years I have put new starter, alternators, carburetor, and
other maintenance, but no major repair.
It has 170789.2 miles on it. Its a manual 4 speed, 4 cylinder, red
Rust on three fenders, fourth fender was replaced, see photo,
dash was cracked in 1983 when I purchased it,
