1966 Datsun roadster:
Low windshield
Just painted less then a month ago 3k just in paint: 2 coats primer / 3 coats black / 2 coats clear
Motor was pulled and seals replaced. Runs good with no leaks or noises. Transmission shifts nicely with no grinds. Rear end in great shape. All fluids are new.
All new interior including a new Dash!
All gauges working oil/fuel/volts/rpm speedo cable broken (see cons)
All electrical is working headlamps hi/lo taillights, blinkers, brakes etc.
All new rubber kit installed:
Windshield upper and lower and around glass.
Quarter windows under and around glass
Window runs (no floppy windows)
New side view mirror
Trunk seal
Tail light gaskets and lens new
Door weather stripping
Filler neck rubber
New shocks up front
Datsun parts lowering front springs (have originals too)
Brakes completely over hauled with new pads and rebuilt front calipers. New rear cylinders and parts.
Hardtop sanded smooth to rid the texture and painted to match. Very clean!
Complete soft top and hardware.
Rear decklid trim included ( not installed) - need to drill holes on decklid if you want them on.
Spare tire and jack as seen in pic.
Tires are brand new Falkens with less then 10 miles on them. White wall inserts.
All trim / chrome present and in good condition. (Missing rear emblem)
She does need a little more TLC to make her a perfect 10!
Steering wheel in almost mint shape with one small crack
I'm sure I am missing a few things and will update accordingly. SHE IS A HEAD TURNER!
Cons:
Wiper motor not working (probably a broken winding) switch checked ok
Speedo cable is broken
Antenna not installed but included. Radio works and speaker wires ran to rear quarter panels
Hardtop front seal is old but still sealing (no leaks). Seal to the body is good
Quarter window latches broken (typical)
Small crack on LF quarter window frame
Rear view mirror has crack
Carbs ready for a tune~ running a little rich
Soft top has small tear in rear window area
Door panels need to be secured better
Typical surface rust underneath. Frame and floorboards very solid. I didn't undercoat because I don't want to hide anything.
