Original, vintage 1976 Datsun B210 2-door coupe, in great condition - YouTube videos below!
Up for sale is this amazing piece of vintage Nissan Motor Company history. The Datsun model B210 was introduced by Nissan in the 1970's as an economical, gas-efficient everyman vehicle. Based as the export version on the Nissan Sunny platform, the Datsun B210 continued the legacy of the 210 series, which evolved and continued into the 1980's.
With distinctive styling and unusual features -- such as the famous Honeycomb hubcaps -- this Datsun embodies the classic mid-seventies Japanese export compact car movement that swept America.
About this car...
This Datsun B210 is in great overall condition, with just under 80, 000 miles and 3 local owners. It features Datsun's 4-cylinder inline A14 engine, 1.4 liters, and gets a whopping 80 horsepower @6000rpm, mated to a 4-Speed manual transmission. It's brown metallic in color with chrome accents. Original honeycomb hubcaps. Original seats, interior components, and exterior attachments. Check out the bumpers!
The car is in good running condition, with very good interior and seating material condition, and very good external condition. The engine is ORIGINAL and the odometer has not passed the maximum 100, 000 miles. It was well cared for by its original owners, and well loved by its current owner, who has consigned this car to me for sale. Along with the owners assertions, I have personally inspected and ridden in this car to verify and inspect the vehicle.
Quick facts...
First owner drove the car for 29 years, the second owner only had the vehicle for 4 months prior to the current owner, who has cared for it over the past 10 yearsOwned for most of its life in Reading, and now Royersford, Pennsylvania100% clear Pennsylvania titleCurrently tagged as historic - so recent PA inspection & emissions were not required and have not been performedOriginal paint color & repaint is brown metallicRepaint believed to have happened in 1980'sBeige/brown interior colorsBuild date October 1975 - 1976 model year on makers plate & original title2 sets of original Datsun keys included (ignition & door)Vent & heater in working condition (no A/C on this model)AM/FM radio Gauge cluster in fully working conditionOriginal floormatsNO RUST under floormatsOriginal Dealer's Plate surroundOriginal battery tie downOriginal wiper blade frames! Original Datsun shop manual included with the car!
The car is in great overall shape, with some normal and common mechanical and aesthetic issues consistent with age. The dash has a minor star crack less than a dime sized. The drivers side floormat has a small hole. Current tires are driveable and hold air fine, but are over 10 years old and will need replaced. The original owner's manual is not included, but the current owner is looking for it! The transmission has some minor noise by the input bearings. The current owner took the car to a certified mechanic familiar with Datsuns prior to sale, and was advised that this was somewhat normal. The mechanic even advised against doing any work to try and correct the issue, as it doesn't affect performance or reliability - even going so far as to say the transmission would likely have similar noise even if it were completely normal.
Bring an vintage, quirky, everyday mans ride to the car show and everyone gets excited.
This model Datsun was everywhere is the 1970's, and most everyone knew someone who had one. Today they have become rare as they were not widely saved -- especially in its original condition and not completely modified. Then, consider the condition of this car with the features above, and you definitely won't see one for sale every day! Often times these cars didn't last over 10 years before they rusted. This car has lasted 39 years now with very little rust issues.
Amazingly, this car still retains all of the original body parts that you would you'd have trouble replacing -- and they're in excellent shape.

If your goal is to buy a car you can enjoy and take to shows that has retained the stock look without needing a restoration,
this is your car.
If you are looking to take one of these cars back to showroom new stock condition, this is also your car.
**If you are looking to modify and make the car different, this is not your car!**
The owner has expressed desire to sell to a buyer who wants to keep the car in original condition. If you're a car guy - you know the emotion that goes into a vehicle and selling a vehicle that means something to you. Though we can't prevent a sale, the owner desires a buyer who wants the car for what it is -- and not to chop, strip, bling up, or radically alter the car into a modified fast-and-furious style vehicle!
