Selling my 1972 Datsun 510 Wagon. It has a rare AUTOMATIC transmission with 4 cylinder engine. Head was just surfaced. Runs and drives and is used every day or so. Engine starts right up no knocks etc does smoke a little if you get on it hard. Transmission shifts effortlessly including into reverse. New plugs, ALL gaskets, oil, fuel and air filters, ignition coil, points, rotor, cap thermostat and timing chain. also has NEW battery newer muffler. Oil was changed and radiator has new coolant. Car runs and drives great. Car is complete with the exception of no radio and trim piece at shift lever and dome lens cover. Front seats are worn and have covers. Dash has a couple cracks. NO cracks in any glass however front window is clouding a bit around outer edge. Rear seat has 1 small (2) rip in the center. Headliner is in nice shape. All door panels are in decent shape NO speaker holes. Window felts and weatherstrip could stand to be replaced.
Hood has rust at the lip but still opens and closes/latches. Front fenders have small dents near marker lights. Rear left was hit and pounded out. For this issue the insurance totaled it. NO structural damage just rear quarter area. Missing same side marker lens. Has roof rack. It is what it is, a running driving collectible 510 wagon. ALL lights work except driving lights are not wired up.

Comes with a wire mesh cargo area divider. To separate pets/cargo in rear area from seat. Has nice turbine style wheels on BFG Radials with 60%+/- tread. Comes with the original wheels as well minus 2 hubcaps. Original gas cap is here too. Front seat area carpet needs replaced but comes with nice fabric and rubber mats (front and rear)
I have the Oregon Title marked Totaled, because of the damage mentioned. Bumpers are rusty. I can talk about the car and mention every little cosmetic issue but don't want to bash my car. It is a highly desirable good operating car needing someone to give it the attention it is going to need for its next 43 years. I am on the Southern Oregon Coast and can meet you or your transport driver at the Loves Truck Center off I-5 in Winston Oregon.
