1978 Datsun 280 Z: FOR SALE
1978 is the last year of the 280z this car is super straight with no rust or issues whatsoever. I have built this car over the past 2 years and it's finally time to let it go to someone who can actually drive it and get a little more use out of it than. Engine has brand new fuel system from the Walbro fuel pump to a recently boiled gas tank. The lines, fuel pressure regulator, in line fuel filter t time and system fuel filter are all new and it stays at a consistent 36 psi in the system.
The engine has a micro squirt fuel mapping system that was quite pricy to install. It was all done by a certified mechanic and the car runs like a top. This system gives total control to the driver for whatever you're trying to achieve off of the tune. The engine is naturally aspirated but the groundwork is there to install boost or strap on some turbos and seriously jack up the hp
The car has straight and in some cases new body panels. I replaced the front quarter panel completely with a brand new one from overseas. The body lines are all there and unmolested. It sits on centerline style wheels and has a semi-gloss black satin finish paint job that I give a 7/10. Interior I would also give a 7/10. The car is clean and I hate to see it go but I hardly drive it anymore and it isn't practical for my living situation at this point. New windshield and rear hatch with all new seals. Some not installed yet but will include with the purchase of the car.
Lastly, the car is super dependable. I drove it from Albuquerque New Mexico at the end of the summer all the way to the east bay without any issues. With routine love and maintenance this car should just keep going.

$500 deposit required at time of auction end. Full payment required within 3 days of auction close. I will assist with helping get a car to a carrier. Car will be held only until end of day June 6th. If car is not picked up by June 6th, a $50.00 per day storage charge will be applied.
