1973 DATSUN 240Z Matching engine number, 4 speed. Fresh restoration under 500 miles. Show ready. Current registration and clean California Title under my name. A true Japanese collectible classic sport car that will only go up in value. Don't miss out. It's hard to come by in this condition.
Car was parked in door non operation, unrestored since 1996 for 18 years prior to my ownership. No rust or body damage found when I sanded down to bare metal prior to sending it to the body shop. All of the removable body parts front fenders, hood, headlight buckets, doors, hatch etc. were sand blasted. All original panels never had damage. I have many more pictures of the car in it's original condition, after sand blasted, and during the restoration process. I did all the work by myself except the paint and transmission. I have 30 years experience and have built and owned a few show winner cars in the past.
The car now has high quality paint job, rebuilt motor, new Holley 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke starts right up, very smooth, and surprisingly makes good power. New Arizona Z Car intake manifold, new upgrade GM 1 wire chrome alternator, rebuilt distributor with Petronix ignition kit, new starter, new clutch & pressure plate, resurfaced flywheel, rebuilt 4 spd transmission, and rear end. New aluminum 3 row radiator, new aluminum fan shroud with dual electric fan. Completely new wiring system (American Auto Wire Power Plus 20). Dakota Digital VHX LED gauges system with GPS Speedometer. New custom stainless steel fuel lines, new Holley red electric fuel pump, rebuilt gas tank. New brake system including brake booster, upgrade Wilwood master cylinder, all brake lines from front to rear and 4 corners, upgrade front Toyota 4x4 big brake kit, 4 pot brake calipers, rear drum. New KYB struts, new Vogtland 2 lowered spring. All the suspension parts were sand blasted and powder coated. All bushing were replaced with Energy Suspension master bushing set, all new wheel bearings. All brand new interior including all the plastic pieces, seat foams, seat upholstery, headliners, and vinyls. Dynamat insulation, heat insulation, ultra plush carpet kit. New Momo Steering wheel. All new rubber seals, re-chromed original bumpers. New 16x9 Rota wheels, new Toyo Proxes R1R 225/45/16 on all four. Inner fenders rolled prior to paint job. Tires are not rubbing.
