June 1970 production date. Clear title. Washington collector license plate
Recent garage find. Off the road for last 12 years.
Revived to good running order. New battery.
Car is straight. No body damage. Mostly stock.
Runs strong. Drives well. Stops good. Shifts fine, no grinding. Good clutch. A bit of blue smoke (seal/rings?). The original motor has never been rebuilt.New Nissan carburetors 15 years ago.
Originally silver, then purple, now in primer.
Correct early steering wheel.
Clean unmolested interior with a dash cover/cap. Good headliner and door panels.
Dual free flow exhaust.
Good bumpers and chrome. Rubber strips on all the bumper guards.
Hatch lid replaced with later 240Z lid but original glass with vertical defrost wires was retained.
Heater, wipers, lights, most gauges work. Horn and fuel gauge not working.
Original tool kit and jack. Clean front floors and spare wheel well. Has original hard board tire cover. Past receipts indicate replaced drivers door, fender and windshield due to a 1990 accident.Front and rear inner panels are clean and car never appears to have been hit in the front or back.
Has rust in the usual places.
Back end of both rockers, a bit inside above the left tail light, and battery area.
Battery area rust is heavy. Through the inner fender below the battery
and on the lower sections of the inner fender area.
The rear fender wheel arches have had rust repaired with bondo.
No rust in hatch hinges area. Some minor rust in floor behind the seats.
Holes in hatch lid from a wing. A 1980's Aero Body Kit was recently removed.
Side marker lights and emblems are removed and openings covered.
Crack in top half of upper left windshield. No hatch lock key.
