Up for auction is a project 280z V8. This Datsun has had most all the hard work finished and is now ready for your final finishing. The body is in finish prim only needing final blocking for paint. The nice original no rust body has many hours of prep work done and is now ready for your choice of color. All gaps are good and fit is very nice. The original glass and stainless has been removed for body prep but dose come with the car. As you can see the floor pans are very good with no rust at all and the original seats do come with. The V8 conversion has been completed other than the wiring. Newly rebuilt 302 Ford with 30 over pistons, rebuilt heads, aluminum intake manifold, headers and new full length exhaust have all been installed. A C4 automatic transmission is part of the installation and a mustang shifter also has been installed. It's running the Datsun Independent rear end, (the heavy duty one) and a new drive shaft is also in. All drive components are in place. A new heavy duty radiator has been instaled and ready for hook up. As you can see by the pictures the engine compartment has already been painted with silver hammer tone paint. (looks nice) The electrical needs to be finished but a conversion manual on the V8 swap for Datsun's and many other manuals, and catalogs come with the car, even the original owners manual comes with. The step by step V8 conversion instruction manual will make a easy finish to get the car running. I'm listing this little Datsun for a car builder friend who has had some health problems and can not finish his project. He has many hours and dollars invested but has set a very reasonable reserve, way under his investment. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs.
