I have put most of the difficult work into this Z. I bought it from a person who inherited it from his father-in-law as a one owner and who didn't drive it much at all except to bring it back to his home. It's a California native. I had a new floor rail welded/undercoated on the passenger side, new Toxico shocks and lowering springs all around, new weatherstripping on doors and rear hatch, carpet, aftermarket seats on customized 280Z original fitted seat rails, repaired all rust with new steel and new paint to match original ...I drove the car all the way back home from the day I purchased it without much issues...(replaced the alternator and battery along the way)...that was a 2500 mile trip and the car drove well...much better now with all new bushings and suspension as well as tires.I have a ton of parts and extra pieces for this car, two sets of recovered seats, two other wheel sets in great shape; one with tires mounted in good shape, set of seat rails, five speed transmission, new fuel injectors, speedometers, tachometers, gauges, interior pieces, parts car and then some. I will accept bids over $10, 000 for the entire lot of vintage Z car + parts...shipping is buyers responsibility. The car is a daily driver capable; always goes straight down the road without any shimmy or shake and can cruise @ 70-80 and never overheats.The AC needs recharge or update, the compressor turns and kicks in when switched on...I didn't try to restore it. The car has really been reliable...I need to sell ASAP; I have other things to do.Thanks for looking. .The car is completely awesome with no rust, runs perfect, valves adjusted, new fuel filter, only synthetic fluids, dash was installed by me re-done with material that won't crack, all lighting working and is a pleasure to drive; fast and stable, new stereo, speakers and amp that matches the stereo; speakers installed in tool kit spaces and in original spaces @ the rear and under the dash hidden. I have an extra set of door panels in great shape as well as all door hardware to put the original set-up back in; I preferred the power window set-up so as to make a safer drive lowering the windows with a switch...works well too!
