Collectors 1978 Datsun-Nissan 280z 2 0wner with 56, 900 MilesThis 1978 280Z is presented in color code 510 Light Metallic blue with Black interior. It has a 2.8 Liter L28E In-line 6cyl that produced 170hp from the factory. The L28E is the enlarged 2, 753 cc engine produced from 1975 to 1984 with dish-top pistons and a resulting compression ratio of 8.3:1. The E stands for electronic multiport fuel injection, provided by Bosch using the L- Jetronic system, and is one of the first Japanese produced vehicles to introduce the technology. Excellent collectable car on the rise in value recently. Looks, runs, drives and feels great. Excellent condition and addition to any collection. This car turns heads and get comments on how good it looks everywhere.
Car is numbers matching and in original great running condition. Starts every time. No major mechanical issues, original paint, carpet, seats and dash. Never restored, still in perfect condition.Only the running gear and fuel systems have been replaced. This car is not restored original All original, interior, paint, still smells new inside.
This car came out of a 28 year storage under cover in a garage in Santa Rosa CA, and has been completely gone thru. gas tank, all new brakes front and rear including cylinders hoses and booster. new clutch pressure plate, main cyl. and slave, new fuel lines, injectors, filters, fuel pump. brand new tires and stock steel wheels with original factory hubcaps, aftermarket mag wheels included. new exhaust & muffler, minor blemishes to the body.
