Thanks for looking at this beautiful 1976 Datsun 280Z. I am selling this car for my brother-in-law. He has owned the car since 2008. It has the fuel injected straight 6 with 4 speed manual transmission.
Body is in great shape and paint looks very nice. Car was repainted at some point of time, but we don't know when. (You can see some tape line on molding around windows, so car was not taken apart to paint) There are 3 rust spots that I have noted. One in the driver door jamb on rocker. Two on the passenger outer rocker. (See pictures)
New fuel pump & fuel lines in 2012 from car sitting so much and not being driven. Tank was also cleaned at this time. Nissan dealer also did a new master cylinder for brakes in 2012.Car also has brand new wheels to look era correct along with brand new tires. Less than 5 miles on them to drive the car home! Bridgestone Potenza tires 205/55R16 all the way around. Rear main seal and oil pan gasket were replaced back in 2008 when the car was purchased, but there is still a small leak coming from somewhere.
Interiors is in very nice shape. Only issue I noted was material on sun visors has separated.
