Description:

This 1978 Datsun 280Z started its life as a low mileage (60K Miles) car bought out of a private collection. It was dismantled piece by piece, restored and modified. Some things stayed stock, some didn't. It maintains the factory A/C and heater. Using a GM compressor and all other Datsun parts. The dash is a factory uncracked and was disassembled and modified to fit modern Speedhut gauges that all function as they should. The interior was restored back to the factory off white Datsun color. The motor started as a low mileage (54K miles) LS1 and six speed drop out from a 2000 Camaro and has been extensively modified with the parts listed below. Wheels are CCW Classics 17x8 front and 17x11 rears that the chassis has been custom designed to fit. The car would make a great Power tour car and has all the right parts to be a track car if so desired.

The car runs and drives great and will run cool with the A/C on in the middle of New Orleans summer. While this car has never been on a dyno, I would guess it makes around 450 whp conservatively. This is a very well sorted car that draws huge crowds wherever it goes. This is a street car not a show car and was built to be driven and enjoyed. This is the 4th LS powered swap car I have done and enjoy building them more than owning them.
