Condition = about the car I have a 11/77 Datsun 280Z, two seater, for sale, first titled 2/1978 as a 78,
VIN# = HLS30433716. I replaced the shocks with KYB Gas, the original Bosh Air Flow Meter with the better Hitachi; I have the number matching engine in a crate to be included in the sell if you want it. I install a Factory Remanufactured 82 ZX engine which is on of the best offered L28 engine. Factory Reman is like new the only used part Datsun used was a standard block, everything else was new. I replaced the injector ends and the EFI water temp connector that are known to corrode. I installed a better 82 ZX 5spd and a 2 ½” exhaust with a Walker Turbo Muffler. It’s the rare Factory Champaign color with the Cream interior, it has a Dash Mat, the seats, door panels and visors have been redone. I has the rear window shade and the glass is tinted. Comes with a 1 7/8” tow hitch and mag wheels. The valve cover is polished. The radio is removed but I have it to include in the sale. This is an Arizona Car.
History = about the owner
I have worked on Datsuns since 1969; I ended up with my own 9 bay repair shop with dyno called Japanese Auto Works in Phoenix Arizona. I am the only tech to ever work on this car, I am the second owner. The original owner was an investment banker and towed his catamaran to Lake Pleasant to relax and sail on weekends.
