Up for grabs today is a rare 1974 Datsun 260Z! As you may know, this model of the Z-Series had the shortest production dating, and thus, is a pretty rare find. I've always wanted a Z, and luck had it that I finally found one. Unfortunately, changes in my current living situation has resulted in the need to sell it so that I can purchase a 4x4 for the mountainous area in which I now live. This car is definitely a fixer-upper and needs a lot of elbow grease, but it wouldn't cost very much to make it great, especially if you do your own labor. It looks a little rough, but it is dependable. It's my daily driver for my 100 mile round-trip commute to and from work everyday, and I drive it with total confidence. I would feel 100% secure in driving this car any distance. I will list all things that have been replaced, as well as all things known to be wrong with the car. Transparency is my goal. Any part not listed below is assumed to be original to the car. All miles are ORIGINAL. As a side bonus, the paperwork and documentation from the original purchase of the vehicle is included in this auction.

-Gauges (All Work Except Clock and Tach but All Need Calibration for Correct Reading)
-Starter (Sometimes Does Not Activate on First Try - Has Never Completely Failed)
-Dent in Operator-Side Door (About the Size of a Fist)
-Paint (In Decent Condition but Not Great)
-Fuel Tank (Has a Very Small Leak, Likely Near the Neck. Does Not Noticeably Affect Fuel Economy)
-Dome Light (Light Flickers - Wiring Issue?)
-Carburetors (Could Use Some Fine-Tuning)
-Fender Flairs (No Longer Present - Small Bolt Holes Remaining)
-Heating (Works Only When Car is Moving at 35+ MPH - Unsure of Cause)

-Body (Needs Light Bondo & Sanding on Roof, Hatch, and Quarter Panels - Minimal)
