Very cool and unique. This 1970 240Zev was converted into an electric vehicle in 2008. Since that time, the body has been updated with fiberglass parts, to help reduce the weight of the car. There are 16 regular car batteries (not lithium). The batteries, controller and motor were all replaced in 2014. The weight distribution of the vehicle is nicely dispersed with 7 of the batteries underneath the trunk of the car. The vehicle can travel around 20 miles on a charge, assuming regular traffic and weather conditions. Charging just takes a few hours. Top speed is around 70 MPH. I have owned this vehicle for 7 years. Buyer must arrange for transportation of vehicle. Seller is located in Southern New Hampshire. Would consider trade for SUV or Jeep.
