This 280ZX is a terrific car with only 45, 000 miles on it. The silver exterior is in excellent condition with only minor corrosion (see photos), and the undercarriage is virtually rust free. The wheels and tires are high quality and in excellent condition. It's been off the road for nearly 20 years, so will need some work to get it ready to drive. I intended to have it done myself but the best laid plans... I have already purchased most of the necessary parts, which are included in the deal: New Battery, oil pump, oil pan gasket, oil filter, six quarts of high quality oil (needs 5), air filter. I would also suggest having the fuel tank drained, cleaned and sealed. Interior is cloth with a couple of small tears, carpet in excellent condition.
It has a terrific 2.8L straight 6 engine with overhead cam, and is fuel injected.. I am currently driving a 1980 ZX and, let me tell you, this car will scoot! Although Nissan started making the Z car in the 1960’s, with the 240Z, and is still making them now, with the 370Z, the 280ZX model was only manufactured for five years, 1978-1983, making it a bit harder to come by, especially at this price. If I had seen this car made ready myself, I would be asking considerably more, so call soon. Don’t miss this!
