1976 Datsun 280z Authentic California Survivor, Zero Rust, Never In Accident, Restorer Dreams.
Work in progress, Z comes with all interior parts except carpet and inner-plastic tail light cover.

otor Is Not Freeze, Car Need To Be Towed.
- A Few Minor Door-Dings Here And There.
- Rear Interior Tail light Plastic-Cover Is Missing.
- Doors Mechanism Need Work.
- Crack Dash As Usual.
- 2 hubcaps missing the center emblems, but i purchased a rusty set with good emblems from eBay (included with the sale).
- Crack Windshield (Replacement Included).
- Seats dried from California sun, need new vinyl (Available on eBay).
- Carpet dried too, you replace it.
- Minor Tears On Door Panels.
- Gas Tank, Fuel Lines And Injectors May Need To Be Cleaned.
- Brakes Need Attention.
- Buyer Will Get The Actual Vehicle in Photos and Include Parts Pictured/Mentioned.
- Minor dings on lower rear hatch and front windshield cowl caused the paint to crack and peel, to prevent rust, they were removed by wire brushes, then sprayed with anti-rust clear coat (see the last 2 photos).
Experienced restorers are well aware that rust is not just expensive but also time-consuming and no matter how you fix it, it keeps showing up on other places in the near future, starting from bubbles.
Most of 'rusty' project cars were left abandoned cause owner loose interest, i'm sure you heard these stories too many.
By far, this Zero-Rust 280Z is an easy project, even for an average backyard restorer, don't matter if you are a purist or resto-mod guy, v
ehicle inspection always welcome before end of auction, not after.
Datsun made s30 Z car from 1970 to 1978, again this '76 280Z carry the most sought after matching-number Triple N42 Engine (block, head and intake) all together.
I know what i have and truly sad to let her go, cause to find one in this Shape-of-Survivor in California is next to impossible, for whoever the new owner is, you are not buying an ordinary Z car, but a one-off Z (California Survivor In Factory Paint), a classic Z car which considered to be in 'endangered species' because they are being crushed inside junkyards on daily basis.
Photos showed how truly special this California Z is, unabused classic in original patina.
Finally, please understand that this vehicle is a non runner, so it will be sold as is and where is.

you don't have the funds to pay for the vehicle or
you need wife's permission...lol.
