I purchased the car in 2013 from an elderly couple. The wife drove the car exclusively. The following improvements/repairs in 2015 were done to prepare the car for sale.
This DMC-12 is in very good condition (8/10), having a healthy 39, 526 miles on the clock. I'm the second owner of this car. The car hasn't been abused, having only the normal wear and tear found with a 34 year old car. Always garaged. Never smoked in. Not driven in rain.
The car includes a working full-size Flux Capacitor!
No custom changes have been made to the car, it's all stock.
This car includes original manuals and detailed paperwork of the car's history, including receipts of maintenance done to the car.
All work done in this car's history has been by DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) in Garden Grove, CA and DeLorean Performance Industries (DPI) in Phoenix, AZ.
2015 improvements/repairs are as follows:
Installed updated transmission computer/governor from DeLorean Motor Company. This is the upgraded system that DMC sells that brings the computer's 1978 designed electronics to the 21st century. A great improvement. (5/15 by DPI)
Installed newly designed automatic transmission pan gasket from DeLorean Performance Industries. Transmission fluid flushed and refilled. (5/15 by DPI)
Replaced driver's side tollbooth window. This part is directly from DMC. (5/15 by DPI)
Installed new wiper and turn signal switch from DMC. (5/15 by DPI)
Replaced brake master cylinder and all four brake pads purchased from DMC. (5/15 by DPI)
Coolant flush and replaced. (5/15 by DPI)
Oil change (1/15)

Other Information:
Interior
: The interior is in great condition, all gauges work, the seats have typical leather wear, covered by sheepskin covers (grey). The center column heater/ac vent needs to be adjusted. (Airflow comes from vents in doors and dash.) The cigarette lighter is unplugged. The car's dash has some sun fade (darkened) mostly on right side. The binnacle is undamaged. A dash-mat nicely covers all sun damaged areas on the dash.
The car's carpet is clean and undamaged, and freshly shampoo'd original floor mats are included. The stereo speakers are obviously beyond their useful life. I recommend replacing all four.
The car's trunk and back shelf are exceptional, 10/10.
Exterior
: The car's exterior has obviously been well cared for. There is only one dent on the car's stainless, located on the passenger door window pillar. The front fascia's paint is a 8/10, needs to be repainted eventually. The rear fascia paint is a 6/10, needs to be repainted eventually.
Engine
: The engine runs strong, like it should - no issues. It always starts on the first try. This is an 'unmolested' engine bay. No workaround modifications have been made, it's completely stock.
Transmission
: As previously mentioned, an updated transmission governor/computer has been installed in 5/15. The car shifts through its three gears properly.
Tires
: The car has newer tires with good tread (replaced by previous owner). The car includes the original factory spare tire that appears to have not been used.
