Description:

December 1981 manufactured Delorean DMC (first registered 1982) – 19, 262 miles from new. Manual Transmission. New brake discs, refurbished calipers and new pads in 2012 (only driven a small amount of miles since them (approx. 200 miles)). New Standard replacement fuel pump & fuel accumulator. I replaced the water pump and all the associated water houses, along with all new fuel O rings, seals etc. Stainless steel coolant reservoir. New original DMC leather seats.
This Delorean drives great and I have used many times as my daily drive to work when my daily car has been in the shop. Only minor normal issues are, passenger door could do with a minor adjustment to make it open easier, but it does open and close fine with a little encouragement. The front and rear fascia’s could probably do with some attention in the next few years as it's getting slight eyebrows up front and paint fade on the rear fascia (i'm just being picky). Body work is fantastic and has no issues / dents etc. Rims are perfect and tires have great tread on them. Has a windshield stone chip which hasn’t spread for the past year – its $450 for a new one via DMC (price reflects this needing to be done); speedo cable gave way about 200 miles ago and I haven’t gotten around to buying / fitting a new one. Framework is clean with only minor surface normal corrosion as you’d see on most Deloreans (no structural concerns / issues). Always kept garaged and dry. Last minor issue is the hood catch needs hooking back up, but it can be opened as normal from outside. Instrument binnacle all in perfect condition as is dash with no cracking or fade.
I have all the paperwork for the car and it obviously has a clean title.
This is my second Delorean, i had one in the UK which was done up as a BTTF replica and worked on by Chris Nicholson (PJGRADY UK); I have had Deloreans for the past 12 years and this one is certainly a gem and you will not be disappointed. Im selling to finish the renovation of my house and I have not inflated the price because of the BTTF 30 year date coming up. This is a genuine sale and if i can make someones day by selling it at a price that isn't greedy and get my house finished, then at least there will be 2 happy people around! In the pictures the car is dusty and I haven't had the chance to wash it for a while so it may look a bit grimey but I promise it cleans up perfectly.
I am happy to answer any questions on the car. I'm also happy to deal with shipping companies etc. as necessary should you not be able to collect / view the car yourselves.
