Thank you for looking at my Delorean. This car is in excellent condition in every way.
I have owned a number of them and this one is the nicest one yet. I am the second owner and have all of the original purchase paperwork with the car. I was originally sold at Sarow Datsun-DeLorean in Saginaw Michigan on October 6th, 1982. It was driven for a few months then stored away where it sat on its original tires, 100% original untouched until I purchased the car. It still has the plastic that came on the seats from the factory.
The car comes with the original purchase paperwork including the original window sticker.
When I purchased it, I replaced the following: (all purchased from Delorean Crystal Lake IL)
Fuel Accumulator kit
Regulator Warm-up
Regulator Warm-up core
Fuel Distributor
Fuel injection lines braided SS black
Fuel Pump Integrated Pump with sender
Clutch system including mater cyl, slave cyl, stainless steel clutch line, clutch hydraulics kit
relay kit
filters
Otterstat
struts for doors, luggage compartment and louvers
over $2688 in parts plus the labor to install it all.
I also had the brakes redone and the air conditioning recharged and works perfectly.
New tires and alignment.
The car runs and drives perfectly and looks flawless. The graining is great, the original interior is in excellent condition.
If you are looking for a Delorean, you wont be disappointed with this one. I do drive it, so I will be adding some miles to it until it sells.
The original radio works perfectly, including power antenna, as does the clock
Both windows work perfectly.
The Binnacle is perfect, no cracks in the dash
The underneath is perfect on this car. The car spent its life stored inside off the ground, it was not sitting on concrete which can draw moisture and cause rust issues.
I am a member of the Midwest Delorean Club here in Indiana, and the President of the club has said it is one of the nicest ones he has seen.
The question I will be asked, so I will answer it here: Why sell the nicest one I have ever had? Because I found one of the #20, 000 vin cars that was made in Ohio. I love the story behind the Ohio built cars and have found a nice one. The 83 isn't as nice, but it is a nice car, and I love the story. So I have decided to keep the 83 and do all the mechanical work to it that I have done to the 81 (parts listed above)
I do have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction if the car sells

Thank you
Michael
