This car was acquired from the original owner who purchased the car new in 1982 as a reward for obtaining a master’s degree. The car has lived its entire life in Southern California and has been covered or garaged for that time.
Fuel system was recently overhauled. Fuel tank was drained and cleaned spotless. New upgraded fuel pump, new fuel filter, new fuel accumulator kit, and new main fuel pressure valve o rings were replaced. Steering column bushing was replaced to eliminate steering column clunk. New rear shocks have just been installed. New tires all around have been mounted and balanced on freshly powder coated original wheels. New interstate battery is kept on a battery tender when not in use. Runs and drives as expected for a Delorean. Cooling system functions great with no overheating issues. Passes smog without issue and registration is current. Both doors, rear engine hatch, and front boot hydraulics function normally. There are no visible leaks. No accidents ever.
The interior is clean and is very presentable to original specification with no rips or tears. Carpets are clean and original. The seats have been newly recovered. There are no cracks in the dash and the binnacle has been recovered/restored to new. The upholstery on the windshield pillars is warped do to sun exposure, which is a common occurrence (see photos).
There is not a single dent, ding, or deep scratching anywhere on the body. Paint on the bumpers look great and shiny with no scratches, however there is one tiny spot on the front bumper where the paint is bubbling (see photos).
All receipts have been retained for parts and work done. Includes original extensive workshop manual and a stainless steel care kit.
Driven regularly in dry weather to keep everything functioning and to keep fresh fuel in the system. Everything within the car is fully functioning (interior and exterior lights, indicators, heater, door locks, mirrors, horn, switches, etc…) with the exception of the following:
Passenger window does not roll down although the motor and switch are working.
It is not certain whether the AC functions, however AC components/system is intact and complete. The AC belt has been removed from the compressor however the belt is included for re installation. Stock Radio is not currently working.
This is a very presentable driver that is ready to be reliably driven and enjoyed.

Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information
: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.

In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash in person or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
