Well I'm sure no expert on Deloreans, but a friend of mine has owned this DMC-12 for quite a few years. He just lost his storage garage, so I ended up with it and am now selling it.
I will tell you all that I know and as honestly as I know it... My friend was the second owner, and this car was originally sold in Colorado.
The original owner was a die-hard Delorean enthusiast, and was active in showing this car at local shows etc.
The car has under 12, 500 original miles, and is in excellent overall condition.It has been serviced regularly at a Delorean shop in Boulder Colorado.
The only thing I would address if I were to keep it, would be to replace the Headliner-pads in the doors, and check out the noise in the passenger side window motor?
I have tried to take good pictures so you can see its overall condition.It sure not perfect, but is still a beautiful car. and in excellent original condition. It runs and drives just like a 12, 500 mile car should.
The car is 35 years old and being sold as-is. I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best than be disappointed in anyway.I have a clear and open Colorado title for it as well as the original window invoice. It also comes with the original polish-kit, 3 large and complete service and parts binders, as well as a large-multi year delorean world magazine collection.
The car is just how I received it. the car could use some detailing and cleaning. With a little elbow grease and effort this car could head for the car shows once again in my opinion.
My opening bid is 17, 500 with no reserve. Now... all of this having been said... I can't imagine finding a lower millage, or a more original and un-molested Delorean like this for the price. (just my thoughts).I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. I am honest and dependable, and the winning bidder can count on my help for an easy and smooth transaction.
