Description:
1981 Delorean DMC12, only 18, 000 miles on this 3 owner piece of American Automotive History, one of only 7 painted Candy Apple Red by Dupont paint in Delaware. History shows that John Delorean's brother owned a Cadillac dealer in OH and ordered 100 DMC's from his brother and had them sent to Dupont in Delaware for these special paint schemes. Many were painted these special colors and include black, white, red, yellow, purple, blue and candy apple red. This particular example has just undergone a mild restoration after 9 years in storage. This includes new tires, seats, headliner/door panels, new and upgraded fuel pump, plugs, R&R front and rear bumpers covers, new fluids, all electrical gone through and everything is in working order with the exception of the cold start valve and warm up pressure regulator, $200ea part. Looking to move on to other projects. A great investment opportunity and a low reserve allow you a great entry level price.
